‘Pour a Little Brain’ connects you to the best free/low cost resources to help guide you on your path to higher education!
Hi, I’m so glad you’re here!
I'm Natalia, a passionate Master in Public Health student dedicated to championing equity in education. My focus is on empowering First-Generation, Low-Income (FGLI) students by connecting them with invaluable free resources and opportunities. This initiative took shape during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, a critical time when such resources were scarce, aiming to amplify the diverse and courageous stories of our guest speakers on the podcast.
My drive for promoting educational equity and ensuring equal access to resources is deeply personal. As the first in my family to pursue college, I encountered numerous challenges along the way, making the journey both daunting and fulfilling. However, I found solace and guidance through supportive mentors and resonant stories from others who empowered me to reach where I am today.
This platform serves as an extension of that journey, creating bridges to transformative opportunities and experiences. Our podcast releases new episodes every week, offering listeners a profound exploration of the triumphs, setbacks, and invaluable wisdom shared by our diverse guest speakers. From esteemed physicians to inspiring college students and even NYT Best Selling Authors, each episode presents a wealth of insights and resources to guide individuals on their path to higher education.
And now, we're not just talking the talk—we're walking the walk. We've expanded to offer affordable help with applications! Our one-on-one support has helped students score spots at big-name schools like the University of Florida, Duke, Notre Dame and more!
